Frederic Allen Bittner Scholarship Application
Purpose:
To provide scholarships to deserving current Thrall ISD seniors and/or previous Thrall ISD graduates with financial need. All Thrall ISD seniors and graduates are encouraged to apply if enrolling full time in higher education for the upcoming academic year.
Criteria to Apply:

The applicant must be a current Thrall High School Senior OR a previous year Thrall ISD graduate

The applicant must be enrolling full time for the upcoming academic year at a college, a university or a seminary located in the state of Texas

Applicant must demonstrate financial need

Applicant is eligible to reapply annually for the scholarship

Application and all supporting documentation must be submitted to the Thrall Community Education Foundation at info@thrallcef.org by April 20

Scholarship winner(s) will be notified prior to the May Thrall ISD Scholarship Banquet. Winner(s) should make every effort to be present at the banquet to receive their scholarship certificate

Scholarship amounts will vary each year based on the annual investment returns of the fund, number of applicants and number of scholarships awarded

Scholarship awards will be made payable to the academic institution and mailed directly to the school

2 Letters of recommendation

A complete high school transcript (current seniors or first time college applicants) or most recent college transcript (current college students)

FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) (if additional proof of income is needed applicant will be contacted directly)

Record of any community service hours
