TCEF Senior Scholarship Program
Frederic Allen Bittner Scholarship
The Thrall Community Education Foundation (TCEF) has proudly administered the TCEF Senior Scholarship Program beginning with the graduates of the Class of 2017!

The administration of this scholarship program was previously the responsibility of the Thrall ISD Superintendent under the supervision of the Board of Trustees. The program was funded by proceeds from the annual Harvest Festival. Scholarship funds were awarded to Thrall ISD graduates for the first year of study at university, college, and/or vocational schools. The initial scholarships were awarded to the Class of 1987.

TCEF has established application procedures along with updated eligibility requirements. See below for a printable link to the New Scholarship Procedures and Eligibility Requirements. Printable applications can be found under the TCEF Scholarship tab.

All graduating Thrall ISD Seniors continuing on to university, college, and/or vocational studies in the year following their graduation are eligible for up to a $1,000 scholarship (pending fund availability and years of enrollment).

If you have questions concerning the new procedures, eligibility requirements, or application process, please email info@thrallcef.org or call 844-898-TCEF and a board member will contact you as soon as possible.

The Thrall Community Education Foundation is proud to announce a scholarship opportunity for the upcoming academic year. The Frederic Allen Bittner Scholarship is available through the generosity of a gift to a named endowment fund.
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to deserving current Thrall ISD seniors and/or previous Thrall ISD graduates enrolling in full-time higher education for the upcoming academic year.

The first Frederic Allen Bittner Scholarship was awarded in May 2020. Scholarship amounts will vary each year based on the annual investment returns of the fund, the number of applicants, and number of scholarships awarded.

More detailed information outlining the criteria to apply, documentation to include with the application, and application due dates can be found under the Frederic Allen Bittner Scholarship tab.
