Frederic Allen Bittner Scholarship Application
The purpose of this scholarship is to offer financial support to deserving current Thrall ISD seniors and/or previous Thrall ISD graduates with demonstrated financial need, encouraging their pursuit of full-time higher education within the state of Texas for the upcoming academic year.

Criteria to Apply:

Applicant must be a current Thrall High School Senior OR a previous year Thrall ISD graduate.

The applicant must be enrolling full-time for the upcoming academic year at a college, university, or seminary located in Texas.

Demonstrated financial need is required.

Applicants are eligible to reapply annually for the scholarship.

Application and all supporting documentation must be submitted to the Thrall Community Education Foundation at info@thrallcef.org by April 20th.

Scholarship winner(s) will be notified prior to the May Thrall ISD Scholarship Banquet. Winners are encouraged to attend the banquet to receive their scholarship certificate.

Scholarship amounts will vary annually based on the fund's annual investment returns, the number of applicants, and the number of scholarships awarded.

Scholarship awards will be made payable to the academic institution and mailed directly to the school.
Documents Required:

Completed application.

Two letters of recommendation.

A complete high school transcript (for current seniors or first-time college applicants) or the most recent college transcript (for current college students).

FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) (if additional proof of income is needed, the applicant will be contacted directly).

Record of any community service hours.
